Analytics
This page describes the questions your analytics dashboard answers, and the one action you take from it.
Your dashboard is the Analytics page in the portal.
What it answers
Section titled “What it answers”The dashboard reports consumption: the usage your customers have reported against the rate-limited features in your catalog. It cuts that usage three ways.

Read together, those three answer the questions worth acting on. A feature nobody touches is a candidate for dropping out of your pricing. A customer whose usage is climbing is a candidate for a larger offering. An offering carrying heavy usage at a small price is telling you the price is wrong.
Where the numbers come from
Section titled “Where the numbers come from”Nothing here is estimated. The figures are the usage your product reported to Monaiq as your customers used rate-limited features, recorded against the license that used them. That is why the same numbers can be cut by customer and by offering: each report already knows which license it belongs to, and every license belongs to a customer and an offering.
Usage is billed for the period it happened in, so the dashboard and the invoice for a period are looking at the same records.
Invoicing a range
Section titled “Invoicing a range”Analytics is also where you turn usage into money. Choose a date range and raise an invoice for the consumption inside it, rather than assembling the figures by hand.
The invoice that comes out is an ordinary Monaiq invoice, and it moves through the same Draft, Finalized and Paid statuses as any other. Get paid covers what happens to it after that.
When there is nothing to see
Section titled “When there is nothing to see”Usage only appears for features you meter. If none of your offerings carry a consumption overlay, there is no consumption to chart, and analytics has nothing to show you.
What it does not cover
Section titled “What it does not cover”Analytics is about usage. Your invoices, their statuses and your payouts are in Get paid, and the licenses themselves sit with the customers who bought them.
